1. Papa Ole's
You have to eat here. They have the worlds best teriyaki sauce. But just don't eat their hamburgers, Because while their fries are good, my sister hated their actual burger.
2. Germaine's Luau
Although I was only present at one luau I have to say, it was pretty good. Now granted I only enjoyed three or four dishes, but they where the best meals of my vacation. The first thing you eat is a pineapple, now you can eat this any time you want so if you are hungry don't wait as the main course starts late. You get three drink tickets with each admission ticket. These are used for alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks, but water and soda are free. Before the dinner the entire audience is called over and they pull out the pig. The pig may look small but it's actually enough to give everyone in the audience a good sized helping. They then line people up and have an all you can eat buffet. The food includes but is not limited to: Steamed rice, Coleslaw, Teriyaki beef, Pork, Poi, and Cake. If you are wondering what Poi is then you've come to the right place. Poi is a soup like substance made of the root of taro. It tastes like dental supplies. If anyone asks you to try it, I suggest you politely decline.
3. Leonard's bakery
This is a small shop in Honolulu. If you want desert or doughnuts this is the place to go. I especially suggest their pineapple upsidown cake.
4. Makahiki
This is a Disney Aulani restaurant and it has good food, but be prepared for a killer cost.
